Trained in Paris at Saint Joseph Hospital, where he still practices,
Dr. Peter Upex specializes in prosthetic surgery of the hip and knee, as well as their complex reconstructions, in which he was trained by
Dr. Pomme Jouffroy.

He was also trained in hand surgery at the Hand Unit of the Saint Antoine Hospital in Paris and co-founded the Unité Main Paris Maussins (UMPM) at the Clinique des Maussins in the 19th district.

Dr. Peter Upex is a member of the French Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SOFCOT) and is registered with the Paris Medical Council.
